SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOTICE OF ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AND MAP AMENDMENT SOUTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOTICE OF ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AND MAP AMENDMENT Pursuant to Section 108 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (“MPC”) [53 P.S. §10108], notice is hereby given that on October 15, 2025, and pursuant to Article VI of the MPC and Article 1 of Chapter 350 (Zoning) of the Township Code, the South Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 2025-1103 which amended Chapter 350 (Zoning) of the South Whitehall Township Code and Official Zoning Map to: (i) add “Data Center” as a new use to Section 350-48(d)(2), (ii) add Section 350-33 to create a Planned Innovation, Research and Technology (PIRT) Overlay District; (iii) add Attachment 4 – Appendix D: PIRT Design guidelines; and (iv) amend the zoning map to identify the PIRT Overlay District boundary. A full and complete copy of Ordinance 2025-1103 is available for review during normal business hours at the South Whitehall Township Building, 4444 Walbert Avenue, Allentown, PA 18104. Any appeal or challenge the enactment of Ordinance 2025-1103 must be filed with the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas within thirty (30) days of the last date of publication of this notice.
