CITY OF WILLIAMSBURG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF WILLIAMSBURG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Williamsburg City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Stryker Center, 412 N. Boundary St., Williamsburg, Virginia, for the purpose of receiving public comment on a resolution to amend the FY2026 budget and to appropriate or reappropriate funds in the General Fund, Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), and the Economic Development Authority Fund budgets as follows: 1. Amend the Capital Improvement Plan budget by transferring and reappropriating from the following projects: $102,966.70 from Medication Drug Dispensing, $131,489.55 from Cardiac Monitoring & Defibrillator, $30,000 from CIS Performance Dashboard, $131,011.66 from Light Warning Crosswalks, $60,000 from Smart City, $13,400 from Outdoor Lightning System, $11,954.23 from Kawanis Park Benches, $10,220 from Automated Irrigation System, and $8,957.86 from Outdoor Volleyball Fence projects and moving the total of $500,000 to the African American Heritage Trail project line; 2. In the General Fund, increase the revenue appropriations for: Fiscal Agent Fees by $437,500, Current Public Service Real Estate Tax by $38,000, Penalties for Personal Property Tax by $24,000, Recordation Tax by $33,000, On Street Parking Penalties by $38,800, Parking Fines by $61,800, Emergency Service Agreements by $58,700, and Room Tax by $260,000; In the General Fund, increase the expenditure appropriations for: Transfer to the Economic Development Authority Fund by $437,500, General Fund Contingency by $514,300; 3. In the Economic Development Authority Fund, increase the revenue appropriation for Transfer from General Fund (for fiscal agent fees) by $437,500, and Increase the expenditure appropriation for Economic Development Fun Contingency by $437,500.
