NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY OF HOBART REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION REGARDING THE DECLARATORY RESOLUTION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE I-65 & 37TH AVENUE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY OF HOBART REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION REGARDING THE DECLARATORY RESOLUTION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE I-65 & 37TH AVENUE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA Notice is hereby given that the City of Hobart Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") will conduct a public hearing at its regular monthly meeting on June 15, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. (local time) in the Common Council Chambers at Hobart City Hall, located at 414 Main Street, Hobart, Indiana, to consider the declaratory resolution and the economic development plan for the I-65 & 37th Avenue Economic Development Area (the "Plan") and its related allocation area (the "Allocation Area"). The Commission preliminarily approved the Plan and the Allocation Area in its declaratory resolution, known as Resolution No. 2026-01, which was adopted by the Commission on January 12, 2026 (the "Declaratory Resolution"). The Declaratory Resolution, the Plan, and the maps and plats that have been prepared can be inspected at the offices of the Department of Economic Development or the Clerk-Treasurer at Hobart City Hall located at 414 Main Street, Hobart, Indiana. Written remonstrances and objections against the Declaratory Resolution may be filed by no later than 3:00 p.m. (local time) on June 11, 2026, in the offices of the Director of Development or the Clerk-Treasurer at Hobart City Hall at 414 Main Street, Hobart, Indiana 46342. At the public hearing, the Commission will receive and hear remonstrances and objections from persons interested in or affected by the Declaratory Resolution and the Plan, consider all written remonstrances and objections that have been filed by the deadline stated above, and determine the public utility and benefit of the Plan and the Declaratory Resolution.
